John Wesley Wright

Holiday Concerts/Gospel Christmas Programs

"The black tenor John Wesley Wright sings Monteverdi,
Bach, Mozart, and Rossini and in March 2000 won the
American Traditions Vocal Competition in Georgia. It's
no wonder because this man has a voice with the warmth
of a freshly baked Christmas pie and a sound as sweet
as honey."

--Belgium’s Focus Knack/Classical CD Reviews

I love to create special holiday projects with symphonies, pops orchestras, church choirs, children’s choirs, professional ensembles…especially those willing to think outside the box. One of my favorite genres has to be the Christmas Spiritual. Enjoy the sound clips of Christmas Spirituals below…each set uniquely with a hint of gospel or jazzy blues holiday spice!
